Q: Aren't all vinyl windows the same?
A: No. There are many different ways windows are manufactured and many different quality levels. Like anything else, you get what you pay for. You need to consider the type of glass being used, the type of gas between the panes, the type of materials used in the frame, and the coatings on the glass, installation etc.
Q: Will I really save energy on my heating and cooling costs?
A: Yes! Because of the high quality of our windows and window installation for Fort Worth and Dallas, you are assured of energy savings. Expect to save but more importantly expect to be COMFORTABLE.
Q: What happens if the thermal seal of the glass goes bad?
A: Every glass unit has a non-prorated lifetime warranty against seal failure.
Q: How long is it before I have to pay for a service call, if needed?
A: You will never have to pay for a service call... ever. Our windows come with an exclusive lifetime guarantee that includes "free" in-home service calls for any factory service work as a result of a defect in materials or workmanship. Your cost will always be $0.
Q: Who will perform the actual installation of my windows?
A: Our own trained craftsmen will install your new windows with pride and expertise. This will ensure both quality window installation in Dallas and Fort Worth… and a beautiful job every time. Our installers are all craftsmen—not subcontractors.
Q: How long does a window installation usually take?
A: Most jobs can be completed in one day, including clean up.
Q: How can we finance our purchase?
A: We can show you several financing options that can help you get the job done within your budget. Financing available with approved credit.
Q: Are there advantages to vinyl over wood?
A: Yes, many. Our vinyl windows are all custom-made for a perfect fit. Most wood windows are standard size and won't fit without a great deal of construction or carpentry work. Plus, vinyl windows are more energy efficient. Wood windows also require a tremendous amount of finish work (sanding and staining) that takes time and is expensive. Our warranty is much better (longer) than wood window warranties. If you need wood windows in Dallas or Fort Worth, however, we can definitely take care of that as well.
Q: What do I have to do to prepare for the installation?
A: If you are not capable, we will move the furniture as necessary and remove any window treatments that might be in the way of the installation. If the window treatments are able to be reinstalled as they were originally attached, we will reinstall them for you. If for any reason they are not compatible we will save all of the hardware that had to be removed.
Q: Should I expect any damage to my home from the installation?
A: For most window replacement in Dallas and Fort Worth, there should be minimal (if any) damage in the work area, depending on the condition of the home and work area. When we finish the project there may be minor touch up but in most cases there is none, we are happy to evaluate to give you a better idea.
Q: How will the outside of the windows be finished?
A: Each home is unique and built with many different exteriors. We will explain fully how the exterior will be finished when we can take a look at the work area.
Q: How long will my home be exposed to the weather?
A: Not very long. For window replacement and repair in Dallas and Fort Worth, we work on one opening at a time and will never leave you exposed to inclement weather.
Q: Do I have to be home while your workers are installing the windows?
A: No, not the entire time. We do need access and you will be required to be there for the final walk around as the install wraps up and you will need to provide payment at that time.
Q: How does your glass breakage warranty work?
A: Simple. If the glass ever breaks, we'll replace it free of charge.
